Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of PublishMCP (the "Service"), available at publishmcp.net, operated by Anderseen OÜ, a company registered in Estonia ("we", "us", "Anderseen"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "User") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

PublishMCP is a self-service tool provided as-is. It implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) so that AI assistants — including Anthropic's Claude — can write and publish articles to a database, and so that your website can fetch and display those articles via a JSON API.

This is a cheap, lightweight self-service product. We do not provide:

• editorial review, content moderation, or approval of any article published through the Service;
• guarantees about SEO results, traffic, or commercial outcome from any published article;
• writing services, content strategy advice, or any managed service of any kind;
• technical support beyond what is available in our documentation and guide.

You are responsible for everything you publish through the Service. We connect Claude to a storage and delivery system. What gets written, published, and displayed on your website is entirely your responsibility.

2. Your content is your responsibility

You are solely and exclusively responsible for:

• all article content published through the Service — including content generated by an AI assistant at your direction;
• ensuring your content complies with applicable law — including copyright law, defamation law, advertising regulations, and data protection law in all jurisdictions where it is published;
• ensuring your content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights;
• keeping your connector URL confidential — it functions like a password. Anyone with it can publish to your account;
• the accuracy of your published content — we do not review, fact-check, or moderate any articles;
• all consequences arising from content published to your website via the Service, including legal claims from third parties.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that we become aware of as being in violation of applicable law, without prior notice.

3. AI-generated content

Articles published through the Service are written by an AI assistant (Claude) at your direction. We do not review, approve, or take any responsibility for the accuracy, quality, originality, or legality of AI-generated content. You must review AI-generated content before publishing it. By publishing content, you confirm it is suitable for publication and you accept full responsibility for it.

4. API and technical use

The JSON API endpoint is provided for you to display your own articles on your own website. You may not use the API to scrape, redistribute, or resell other users' content. You may not attempt to access accounts other than your own, reverse engineer the Service, or use the Service in any way that could harm its availability for other users.

5. Connector URL security

Your connector URL is a secret credential. You are responsible for keeping it confidential. If it is lost or compromised, regenerate it immediately in MCP Settings — this immediately invalidates the previous one. We are not responsible for unauthorized use of your connector URL.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid access is offered on a prepaid basis. When you subscribe, the corresponding period is added to your account valid-until date. Subscriptions do not auto-renew. If you do not subscribe again before your valid-until date, paid access ends. No charge ever happens automatically. You may delete your account at any time from MCP Settings.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that articles will be delivered to your website without delay or loss. We do not warrant any particular uptime or availability. Use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anderseen OÜ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service — including but not limited to: lost traffic, lost revenue, reputational damage, legal claims arising from published content, data loss, or service unavailability.

Our total aggregate liability to you will not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have paid nothing, our liability is zero.

This is a low-cost self-service tool. Price it accordingly.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing of third-party rights, or that violates applicable advertising or data protection law. You agree not to use the Service to spam, scrape, or abuse the API in ways that degrade availability for others.

10. Third-party services

The Service interoperates with Anthropic (Claude), Google LLC (Search Console — optional), and OpenRouter (image generation — optional). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of those third-party services.

11. Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after a revised version is posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, abuse of the API, publication of unlawful content, or non-payment.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
